Over 17 tracks, Iggy and a sevenpiece band rip Stravinsky Auditorium apart with
Stooges classics and Iggys solo songs. The mixing on Live at Montreux 2023  is
wonderful. Iggys backing band reignites some of these songs in a new and exciting
way. The setlist is excellent all major Stooges albums are touched, Iggys solo
hits, a few newer songs, some experimental deep cuts. The centerpiece remains Iggy
Pop himself, enigmatic and unwavering as ever. This performance is timeless. So is
Iggy.

On March 28, 2023, legendary Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away from his
battle with cancer. In the final stages of his life, with touring and solo shows now
impossible due to his health battle, the maestro wanted to perform for the world one
last time. The performance was shot by Sakamotos son Neo Sora in an empty NHK recording
studio, thought to possess the finest audio dynamics in Japan. With naught but a grand
piano for company, Ryuichi Sakamoto performs a carefully curated selection of 21
compositions from across his storied career for the final time. Shot in monochrome,
Sora captures the masters swansong with breathtaking intimacy and emotion. Ryuichi
Sakamotos final performance is a truly one of its kind musical and cinematic experience.
